Anyways, I could see some improvements in this pic compared to your previous, such as the usage of textures, and the lens flare.

To start off with, your composition is well-formed. When it comes from the hat, it gives a good sense of nostalgia. The texture also gives a good sense of 'former honor' if you know what I mean. 3:

I swear to god, my first attempt was CRAPTASTIC. You used textures, and lens flares and stuff.
I just used a bunch of shit stuff.

One of your big mistakes in the picture, and yes we all hate this- is some of the anatomy.
I'm finding his left leg semi-awkward. It's like it's bending back, as if it were his knee, even though we can see the knee come down lower in his boots on his right leg. (i'm going by his perspective, 'K?) Sorry if I sound confusing.
His arm w/ the hat is a little short as well. I don't want to get into detail without gettting complicated, but normally when an arm is outstretched, it should be just as long-or longer- than the arm that is not.
Your puddle is a little off center too.

But enough about that. I down stuff too much.

It's an overall good picture for being in photoshop for the first time too. I would be obliged to see more of your works in photoshop!
